Blast from the past

These photos were actually taken last December 2011. I know, late post. Well, since I haven't blogged any outfit posts yet, let me show you guys what I wore when me and my family celebrated Christmas.

 Too lazy to edit more photos. And my net's suckishly slow so its taking forever to upload. Anyway, here's a little sneak peek on my 'fashion style'. This is what I can tell you though: I wear a lot of black. Like really, I wear it all the time. Well, I'll try to change that though :) Put a little color into my life, lol

Heyoo Stressoo...

Today, I had my basic pattern making class at FIP. This class used to be the death of me, I couldn't understand a thing! But good thing I'm starting to catch up now :) The bad thing is that where all my classmates are busy with their mermaid skirt patterns, I'm still trying to figure out a basic a-line skirt. But hey, progress though!

I was so busy working and concentrating on finishing my patterns, I didn't notice how dirty my hands have gotten from the pencil and glue o_o But its really too bad these were the only photos I was able to take today :( We were all so busy and I think none of my classmates were in the mood for a photo shoot either.

Fashion Design class tom! Its gonna be fuuuun. Stay tuned for my post on that tom dolls. Till then :*

F***ing Sopa/Pipa/Acta

Sorry bout the F word guys but I just can't help it. If you haven't heard about what SOPA, PIPA, or ACTA are about yet then let me enlighten you.

SOPA - Stop Online Piracy Act

PIPA -  Protect IP Act

ACTA - Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement

If you haven't noticed yet, some of your frequently visited sites are slowly and one by one shutting down. I don't wanna go into detail about what the said acronyms above are about but they are basically bills that are intended to strengthen protections against copyright infringement and intellectual property theft. I'd say its a violation of human rights and freedom of speech. At first I thought this would all blow over in time, but turns out its all very serious business. I'm no expert in this issue or trying to come off as one but I think its common knowledge that hell would break lose if ever these acts are to be implemented.

Just imagine a world without internet. Well, that's how I imagine it would be if SOPA/PIPA/ACTA ever comes true. There might still be internet to use, but it won't be the same anymore. 

As early as now, some of the sites I go to are already announcing their goodbyes. Picnik and Looklet for example. I was shell shocked to learn that these kinds of sites are also affected by this bs.

My Shoe Addiction

There's this one thing that girls will do anything for, will go crazy for, and just can't get enough of. 

SHOES! 

I myself love shoes and I'm guilty for splurging on 'em once in a while. I'll admit that shoes really are my weakness. So for this post, I'll share to you guys some that I've been dying to get for myself. I hope it serves as a guide in some way if you've been trying to figure out what styles or trends in shoes you were thinking of buying.

Are you a fan of online shopping? Or Korean inspired fashion? Well I am. I love shopping online because its easy, hassle-free and sometimes its the only place where you can find what you're looking for. You can also find cheaper and much affordable items where you can't in the local market. These days, I'm trying to stock up on pumps and platforms. One of my favorite online shops I go to are Thrift Manila and Asian Vogue.

Every girl loves brands, right? Too bad they're hella expensive. All I can do to own one of these babies is to go for the 'inspired' ones instead. Aka, knock-offs =)) I own one JC Lita and one JC Fox and I love 'em even though they're not the real ones. But hey, at least I look cute in them ;) Haha. Anyway, in all the shoes in the JC collection, these are my favorite ones.

Speaking of lookbook...I haven't posted any looks yet on my account! So I guess I'll add that to my growing list then. I'll try to do my first outfit post tomorrow!

Miss them

So for this 3rd term at CSB, I'm actually on loa for a while. I'll be going back on the 2nd term next school year on September. So for the mean time, I'm taking up courses at The Fashion Institute of the Philippines at Ortigas. Since I haven't been going to CSB, I'm not able to see my darling friends which I miss dearly. So I'll take this chance to dedicate this post to them. Love you guys =))

Going Back

So for my first official post, I thought I'd share to you guys some photos I took with my block mates at De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde last July. I know its super late for a blog post but I just loved everyone's outfit that day that I have to blog about it here.

So, this is me :D I opted to wear a floral top, bondage skirt and a cardigan that day. Actually I got into trouble cause my skirt's too short. CSB has quite a strict dress code :| that I frequently 'forget' =)) Haha

Evanescent Beginnings

Hey there, Welcome!

I guess that was a standard way of greeting you guys for something like this right? Fist post, Yay! So yeah, welcome to my humble blog.

Sorry bout that, its just that I’m new to this whole blogging thing. Well, not absolutely new though. I’ve got a personal blog at tumblr where I keep all my dirty secrets, guilty pleasures and  vent filled posts. If you’re even remotely interested in that and about me, I guess I could pm you the link :> Hehe

Anywho, moving on. The reason I made this new blog. I have for the longest time wanted to make a blog, solely dedicated to Fashion and Photography which are my passions in life. But yeah, because I’m such a lazy bum I’ve been holding it off for a long time. So what an achievement for me, I finally pulled through with my plan.

So, expect a whole lot of outfit pics, events coverage, celebrity gossip (mainly about my favorite fashion bloggers, icons, designers and the likes), fashion school adventures, internships, and I guess some tips I could share to you.
